If you have, you get more; if you don’t have, you loose what you have.

This is the first time I am using a sentence as a title. Even if you do not have time to read this short contribution, read the title seven times and substitute “you” with “I” and repeat it seven times and something will tick within you.

As a Christian, there are things that leave me dumbfounded in the scriptures. One of them is the implications of the title. Jesus himself enacted this principle after telling a parable of talents in Matthew 25 (worth reading in full).

Math 25:29: “For to everyone who has [and values his blessings and gifts from God, and has used them wisely], more will be given, and [he will be richly supplied so that] he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have [because he has ignored or disregarded his blessings and gifts from God], even what he does have will be taken away.

Scriptures are spiritual codes that can be meaningfully decoded by a mind divinely entangled with the mind of God. If you have not read The art of execution , I strongly recommend you read it, I made loads of arguments on intelligence. When I was making an ontological argument about infinite intelligence of God, I inferred that God also think to us in terms of the Questelligence domains. Anything outside the Questelligence domains would be unintelligible to an ordinary mind. But for an entangled finite mind with infinite intelligent mind God, there is a continuous learning of how to map abstract domains on concrete questelligence domains so that pragmatic actions that can translate thoughts to knowledge and then to physical values can be done and achieved by the thinker. This is why we read the scriptures as Christians.

I have translated the skills I am acquiring from communicating complex Questelligence ideas to write my research paper and PhD thesis. From my PhD work, I have published 10 articles in reputable journals, presented 2 conferences papers and 2 seminars (See my Google Scholar:Chukwuma Ogbonnaya ). By spending time and energy to write for readers like you, I am acknowledging value in thinking and writing, and I am having abundance of thinking and writing skills. I do not write to get likes and comments, I write as a reflective practice. It is primarily for my good eventhough I ensure that I do not waste your time by making efforts to see that every post counts, particularly now that many people are following the blog.

This post is actually a call for action to my readers. You might need to rethink what you have so that you can use it to have abundance. Abundance is created from what you have and not from what you do not have. Note that it must not be money. Money is a consequence of series of decisions and actions. What generates money was once in an insignificant form that needed insights to understand its value. Have you thought of family, friends, certificates, training, location, videos, books, ICT, etc as what you have. We need to be value searchers if we must have abundance. Search for values in your work, friends, family, city, nation, etc. Think in terms of values and how to appreciate it in other to create abundance.

I have a standing rule in my family that my sibblings should always volunteer to serve others and their community and not wait to be served. The reason is simple. When you find value in serving your community, you are developing skills that will help you succeed in seemingly unconnected areas in your life. Volunteering is a strategic adventure for self-transformation. Serve if you want to develop and be better.

If you do not volunteer to serve, you are letting those volunteering to serve to acquire skills, experiences, adaptations, networks, that will help them to have abundance in the future. So, God made it that “The person who is greatest among you will be your servant – Matthew 23:11”. Is this not also as strange as the first passage? How can the “greatest” be the “servant”. The answer is the same reason while Amazon and Google and their likes are the most valuable companies on earth. They are busy serving us and spending more resources on how to serve us better. By so doing, they have abundance of what we think are valuable.

Give love and happiness to others if you want to have abundance of love and happiness. You cannot be happy by taking and receiving only. Cause your products and services to be valuable, and of great service to others and you will have abundance of profit. What is it that matters to you, use it to serve within the specific people domain.

In summary, can you now see why those who refuse to value what should be valued would loose its benefit and at the same time lack the value. On the other hand, value searchers would find value, use it to serve, and then get abundance of what they value. It is this simple.

Can I use this opportunity to thank those who liked and followed by blog. Sebastian thank you because your likes makes me feel someone valued my efforts and sincere sacrifices to be a blessing to others just as I have benefited from many people, living and dead, who made efforts to contribute to human collective intelligence.

Do have a great week ahead!
