Jesus knows you beyond your deepest knowledge of yourself. He wants you to experience heaven on earth. Thy kingdom come, he said we should pray. If it was not possible to experience God’s kingdom on earth, Jesus would not have asked us to pray so.

But the truth is that we do not know what to pray; yet, the Spirit of God in us pray with burden to much to be uttered. We must realise that we are not alone in this; hence, even the disciples of our Lord Jesus asked him to teach them to pray. One day, I was amazed by what the Spirit explained to me on praying. In retrospect, conversations with the Holy Spirit lead to precepts and concepts that have not failed me yet. He told me that I do not know what I ask for when I pray. In humility, I asked for more clarifications since I desired to pray more. He said that it is better to give thanks to the Omniscient God whose love would never fail than taking up battles that should be of the Lord.

Here is the revelation friends. He said that asking God to give you certain things implies that you must lack such things first. For instance, to get peace, you must be in chaos. To have, you must first be in lack. If you pray that God should increase your faith; prepare for trouble. At this point, I was speechless and wondered how many times I have prayed amiss. Before then, I have read the scripture where God said “come let us reason together”. This means that man can co-create with God. SO, in prayer, if it must be answered, God should actually raise the prayer point.

What God wants is a relationship with you not a transaction. Within the relationship, all you need would be provided for, divinely. Dependence on his grace and accepting his leading reduces the stress on you as you have moved the responsibility for managing time, chances and uncertainties to him. Sometimes, he would ask you to do things that are humanly hard or apparently impossible; but he provides the grace and his presence. This was probably what Apostle Paul experienced and he stated that He could do all things through Christ that strengthens him.

I love the Holy Spirit because He does not just uncover problems, he provides solutions. He said that I should always thank God and approach God with gratitude and sense of having all I need in Him. That with such a grateful heartset and his presence, the Spirit would reveal accurately what I need or need to do so that I can be sure that God is with me. May we move at the impulse of God as it is written that as many as are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God.

Therefore, let us continually give thanks to God in all circumstances so that Elohim can answer us in all circumstances. His love for us is unfathomable and His grace towards us is in excess. Please give thanks to the Lord for He is good and His love endures forever, even towards you today.
