NEGOTIATING WITH GOD

Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.

And he said, My presence shall go with the, and I will give thee rest.

And he said unto him, if thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence ( Exodus 33:13-15).

This passage tells how Moses negotiated with God when God promised to send an angel to go on with Moses and the people. Moses was very determined that what will do is God’s presence. Finally, God accepted and went with them.

God’s presence is still as present today as it was in the days of Moses. Perhaps, you need to know that the journey from Egypt to Cannan was to take 40days but they were moving round and round, rigmaroling in the desert which caused the journey to last up to 40yrs. I do not know where God has promised to take you or what God has promised to do for you. Hear this today, you need God’s presence to reach your destiny.

God’s presence is God. God’s presence is power and grace. God’s presence is supernatural. God’s presence is what we all need. God will not tell you, hey there, you need my presence. In fact, God may even send his angels who are also powerful.

Therefore, know that you are responsible for truthfully evaluating yourself so that you can engage God at the appropriate level. Before, I had thought that God is one big being holding a stick, and waiting to beat me as soon as I commit sin. If you think so, you are as wrong as I was.

God is love, Abba Father, and he is always waiting to hear you and tell you stuffs beyond the reach of carnality. Thus, you must deepen your personal relationship so that he can show you beyond acts, to show you his ways.
